How long does it take for one to get a SRRV after deposit, filing application, medical clearance, NBI clearance , etc. are done? 60 days, 90 days, 120 days, 180 days, more. Know of some horror stories from friends in the Philippines, some who are still waiting 6 months on. Is this normal? Seems like it would be easier just go get renew every 30 days (this being advocated by Philippine friends).

Thanks

Generally, if you have all the documents and requirements completed and correctly filled out, the processing time is as fast as 3 to 4 weeks/15- 20 business days at one of the main PRA branches. A satellite PRA office will take longer, usually 25 to 30 business days.

The "horror" stories you hear usually involve incomplete applications or directions that were not followed correctly. The process that takes the longest is generally translating and notarizing, as well as the potential apostille required for documents from your home country.
