I need corrective osteotomy surgery on my left knee. Can anyone recommend a top hospital to have this done in Argentina.  Thanks.

Hi David,

Most folks here will tell you to try one of the orthopedic departments in one of three hospitals: Alamen (German), Italiano, and Swiss Medical.

However, for important stuff, I choose my doctor, not my hospital.

I've been *knock on wood* lucky enough not to need a knee doctor here, so I can't give a specific recommendation, but I'll share with you my little hack that I use to find my knee specialist in Mexico.

I knew that Mexico (and more so in Argentina) futbol is a bit deal, so I looked up the most popular team in the city and found out who their Orthopedic surgeon was. My logic was a player wasn't going to risk their livelihood and earning potential on a bad doctor. Good luck.
