Hi Marco, I hope it's going great!

I'm currently in the Philippines on a tourist visa and my fiancee and I are planning to get married when she visits the Philippines in May 2024.
Are there any additional requirements or special procedures for two tourists to get married?
Also, could you also refer us to the relevant authorities to help us handle the process?

Your insights and feedback would be really helpful through this.

Thanks Marco!

Hi Tim, In the Philippines the Local Civil Registry (LCR) sets the requirements. LCR can be at the municipal, city, town, or barangay level depending on where you plan on getting married. Where do you plan on having the ceremony?
