Hi,

I can't say I am familiar with the California specifics. Is the DOJ a check that you needed to submit fingerprints for? If so, that should work. However, you will need it apostilled by the California Secretary of State.

I found this on a quick Google search. You can start here for details.

Hi Marcos, I am a retired USAF military active duty serviceman but my retirement pay is $882 because of divorce I was forced to split my retirement ($1764) as an enlisted member E-6 to my ex spouse after the divorce. I am currently getting $1300 month on Social Security also. Would I still qualify for the SRRV courtesy visa?

Hi Ron,

As long as your guaranteed monthly income combined (military pension + social security) meets the $1,000+ threshold, you qualify for the SRRV Expanded Courtesy Visa.

If you need help with the visa process, feel free to drop me a line.

Hi Marco,
For the Classic SRRV, can I simply leave my money in the PRA approved bank rather than invest it in a condo etc?

Hi Jim,

You are correct. You have the option, but not the obligation to invest your deposit. Otherwise, you can leave the deposit in the PRA-approved bank.

Cheers,

Marco

Hi Jack,

It depends on a few things. Are the charges outside the Philippines?

Hi, does a retirement visa for 20 years allows you to pay worldwide income tax in the Philippines?
Otherwis people need to pay their taxes in another country?

Hi,

Your tax situation depends on several factors including, your source of income, country of citizenship, and how long you are living in the Philippines each year.

Hello, I am interested in the retirement visa for the Philippines. Do you have more details about the DFA recognized international organisations please? I would like to learn whether the organization I retired from is recognized, meaning that the police certificate/clearance is not required. Thank you.

Hi Matt, it's possible to use a different visa to stay in the Philippines. What citizenship do you have?
