  1. Hello Marco, thanks for all your Good Work. I’m planning to relocate to Mexico from Texas and can use some advice on how and where to get online work. Can you help please?

    1. Hi Daniel,

Thanks for reaching out. I might be able to help, but finding online work is very dependent on your skillset. Have you been working remotely during the pandemic?

  2. Why isn’t Thailand on your list of retirement places?

It’s good that you are updating Mexico because there have been radical changes in tourist permits and residency income requirements since November 2021. It’s much more difficult in both regards now tho there is a temporary special deal for getting quick residency by basically overstaying your tourist permit and buying your way into residency, tentatively in effect until the end of this year.

    Awesome, thorough website!

    1. Hi Sophia,

I loved living in Thailand, but their Thai Elite Visa is ridiculously overpriced in my honest opinion. There are lots of places in SE Asia with similar amenities as Thailand, without the same onerous financial costs. Perhaps when Thailand launches its Digital Nomad Visa the cost/benefit will be more reasonable.

      Cheers,

      Marco
